Published during the Degree Show  at Edinburgh Napier University; Despite their existence in every city, narrow streets/pathways lack the design guidelines and have very scarce reference in literature.  The target of this book is to come up with a 'lighting design outline', analyzing both the links between human instinctive behaviors in urban public spaces in relation to lighting design, and the perception of personal safety and of cities at night in connection with corridors and urban design.
