This project is a collaboration between me and Switch Group S.A.R.L (www.switchgroup.net), an ambitious company with headquarters based in Lebanon. I was approached by Switch Group to lend my expertise to this “underappreciated” Archeological Site. This project has given me the opportunity to start introducing the concept of social responsibility to Lighting Design in my region (Middle East).
Due to the historical background of this specific site, design decisions were primarily based on reflecting and maintaining the identity of the site and highlight the archeological ruins present on it; leading to a minimal design approach.
