Black & White | Light as motion and messages

Fascinated by the concept of CONTRAST and it’s real life effect; I have decided to represent it in a conceptual “Light art projection installation”, visually and through words. Inspired by T. S. Eliot. Little Gidding’s quote: “We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all of our exploring will be to arrive where we started, and know the place for the first time.” Along with James Blake’s song “Limit to Your Love” enthused my idea, hence made me translate the meaning behind the quote and the lyrical analogies of the song into a minimilastic projection shadowing the three different routes in life: the YES, the NO, and the Maybe; hence, the BLACK - WHITE - STROBE EFFECT

Some of the major technical aspects I have experimented within this projection installation included the position of the words, the speed of the animated projection, the scale, and the font used.

This Light Artistic projection was initially exhibited in Edinburgh, United Kingdom; next it was exhibited during Beirut Design Week in Beirut, Lebanon.
